30 Years of Presence
Humanity & Inclusion has been working in Vietnam for over 30 years, supporting projects on rehabilitation, road safety, inclusive education, maternal and child health, livelihoods, HIV/AIDS prevention and supporting emergency responses following natural disasters.
Today - Advancing Medical Education and Rehabilitation Care Project
Currently, HI is running a nation-wide rehabilitation project, focusing on improving the quality of rehabilitation care for persons with brain lesions (stroke, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida).
Objective
Hanoi, Hai Duong, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai
Locations
Improving functional capacities and independence in daily life activities of persons with brain lesions (stroke, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida.
Funding bodies
The rehabilitation project is co-funded by the United State Agency for International Development and the Fondation Botnar
Collaborations
Partners
Main project's partner is the Ministry of Health and its representations at provincial level (Department of Health) as well as national, provincial and district level general and rehabilitation hospitals. The project also partners with Medical Universities in Hai Duong, Da Nang and HCMC
